制造反物质主要通过粒子加速器。将质子加速到接近光速，然后撞击金属靶（通常是铱或钨）。碰撞释放的巨大能量会产生各种亚原子粒子，其中就包括反质子。再用磁场将反质子从其他亚原子粒子中筛选出来，并通过减速器对其减速和冷却。
若要制造完整的反物质原子（如反氢原子），需要将反质子和放射性同位素产生的正电子结合。反物质一旦遇到其「镜像」物质就会湮灭，所以需用势阱将其悬浮于空中。

Unfortunately, we're convinced otherwise because we're wired to "fit in. " To be accepted by the tribe. To conform to the productivity obsessed culture that tells 20 year olds that if they don't grind themselves to the bone, to neglect every domain of their life except for work towards a dream that's not their own, they are wasting their lives.
Society has convinced you that performing only when it's time to perform (like procrastinating school work) is a character flaw. It's not. And you can take comfort in knowing that it's one of the most effective ways to work.
If we take a look at the lives of those like Charles Darwin, who wrote 19 books in his lifetime and discovered the theory of evolution that changed how we view the world, we find a pattern. We find that most of the world's successful creatives worked in short bursts of deep focus complimented by relentless periods of deep rest. The world wouldn't give them silence, so they had to take it.
They worked like lions, not cows. They understood that humans are wired to hunt more than they are to graze. They understood that work doesn't have to be a linear 8-16 hours every day. That's for machines. Work can be 2, 6, 9, or zero hours if it must be. If you have to discipline yourself to work, you are working on the wrong thing. If long workdays are easy and natural, lean into that, but know that intensity doesn't last forever.
The great creatives discovered that leisure was their secret weapon. The long walks. The sun by the pool. The reading, exercise, and deep conversation. These are what led to the outsized ideas. And when you are armed with the right idea, you can get 16 hours worth of results in 2, because "hours worked" is not a useful metric for value created
The mind is like the body, and intellectual athletes know that spending 8+ hours in the gym 7 days a week is not the recipe for a chiseled physique.
